JOHNS CREEK, Ga. - Junior Amy Han of the Boston University women's golf team turned in an impressive opening day at the GSU Invitational on Monday, shooting rounds of 70 and 69 at Rivermont Golf Club to sit third in the 88-golfer field at minus-5.

Han's 3-under 69 in round two matched her best collegiate round and she will enter Tuesday's final round just one shot off the lead. She recorded three birdies in each round on Monday and had just one bogey all day.

After posting a score of 319 in round one, the Terriers rebounded with a 296 to finish the day in 12th place at plus-39.

Junior Hibiki Adachi, who is playing as an individual, posted a 77-75--152 on Monday and is tied for 42nd at plus-8.

Freshman Monica Wu overcame an opening-round 82 by posting a 1-under 71 in round two to finish the day tied for 45th at plus-9.

Junior Madison Takai (81-80--162), freshman Wendy Li (86-77--163), freshman Sophia Zhang (82-82--164) and senior Annika Manjunath (85-79--164) are bunched up between 68th and 77th entering Tuesday.
