STORRS, Conn. — The Boston University track & field program wrapped up the UConn Northeast Challenge on Saturday, April 18.

TOP 10 TERRIERS

Sophomore Luke Riordan threw a new personal-best in the hammer and solidified his spot as No. 10 all-time at BU with a 57.99m mark.
In the pole vault, sophomore Joseph Arens notched a 4.40m mark, tying the 10th-best outdoor mark all-time at BU.
Sophomore Leonni Griffin slid into a tie for fifth all-time at BU with a 2:07.74 mark and freshman Samantha Lascelles ran a time of 2:08.48, taking over eighth all-time.
In the 3000m steeplechase, senior Samantha Seabury clocked a 10:47.37 time, putting herself at 7th all-time.
The 4x400m relay crew of Ijeoma Ezechukwu, Kendall Barnhart, Nia McCurdy and Jada Smith finished with a time of 3:39.64, moving into third all-time at BU.
Freshman Mackenzie Blanchet threw a mark of 44.02m in the discus and took over sixth all-time.
In the javelin, junior Carly Sarisky threw 39.26 meters, good for fifth all-time at BU.
Senior Uchenna Uba improved her mark at seventh all-time in the shot put with a 14.14m toss.

TOP PERFORMERS

Freshman Zachary Cox ran a 21.26 time in the 200m dash.
Sophomore Thomas Cowan won the 800 meters with a 1:49.75 time, a season-best mark.
Freshman Justin Ruiz won the 5000m with a 14:49.27 time.
Senior Olivia Dodds led the Terriers and the field in the 800m with a 2:06.54 time.
Senior Ellie Roan won the hammer throw (60.29m), discus (46.27m) and shot put (14.72m).
Senior Ijeoma Ezechukwu championed the 100m with an 11.85 time.
