Seven seat in BU’s Club 8+ “B” crew that was ninth at the 58th Head of the Charles Regatta (Oct. 21) … Stroke seat in the Second Varsity 8 that faced Brown in the spring opener (March 23) … Bow seat in the Varsity 8 that took on Northeastern (April 6) … Bow seat in the Second Varsity 8 that was victorious over Holy Cross, Temple, Hobart, and Marist in 5:59.23 on Lake Quinsigamond (April 20) … Bow seat in the Second Varsity 8 that picked up wins over Georgetown, Wisconsin, Syracuse, and Dartmouth at the Lake Morey Invite (April 27-28) … Bow seat in the Second Varsity 8 that was third in the Petite Final at the Eastern Sprints (May 19) … Four seat in the Second Varsity 8 that finished 10th in the nation, and fourth in the Petite Final in 5:45.706, at the IRA National Championship Regatta (May 31-June 2).

Bow seat in the Club 8 “B” crew that placed seventh in a time of 14:42.826 at the Head of the Charles … Bow seat in the Third Varsity 8 that was second in the spring opener against Brown (March 25) … Bow seat in the Third Varsity 8 that triumphed over Northeastern with a time of 6:02.0 (April 1) … Seven seat in the Fourth Varsity 8 that finished third against Harvard and Brown on the Charles River (April 8) … Stroke seat in the Fourth Varsity 8 at the Lake Morey Invite, competing against Syracuse and Dartmouth (April 29-30) … Three seat in the Third Varsity 8 that won the Petite Final in a time of 5:50.200 at the Eastern Sprints (May 14) … Seven seat in the Third Varsity 8 that finished 10th, fourth in the Petite Final, in a time of 5:59.82 at the IRA National Championship Regatta (June 2-4).
BEFORE BOSTON UNIVERSITY
Rowed for the Sarasota Crew ... Earned first place at the FSRA scull states in the Men's Varsity 2x and FSRA sweep states in the Men's Varsity 8+ as a senior ... Also won bronze in the V8+ at the Youth National Championship ... As a junior, earned first place at the FSRA scull states in the Men's Junior 4x and FSRA sweep states in the Men's Varsity 8+, while taking fourth in the V8+ at the Youth National Championship ... Also played lacrosse and hockey, and competed in cross country/track and field.
PERSONAL
Son of Veronica and Brian Vega ... Has two siblings, Isabelle and Celia ... His sister, Celia, was a member of the women's lightweight rowing team ... Enrolled in the School of Communication majoring in Public Relations at BU.
