Placed sixth in the javelin at the Duke Invitational (55.18m) and third at the Spec Towns National Team Invitational (51.67m)... Finished sixth in the javelin at the America East Championships (53.65m) and 14th at the New England Championships.
AS A SOPHOMORE IN 2005-06
Placed second at the Tufts Snowflake Classic (54.37m), ninth at the Duke Invitational (56.32m) and second at the Uconn Invitational in the javelin, with a career best, 56.93m... Also placed eighth at the America East Championships and seventh at the New England Championships.
AS A FRESHMAN IN 2004-05
Finished sixth at the Terrier Cup in the 400m with a 57.58 time on Jan. 22... Placed 26th in both the long jump (5.05m) and 400m (55.02) at the BU Invitational on Jan. 28... Ran a 2:51.08 1000m for second place at the Seven-Way Meet on Feb. 2... Ran a 7.71 55m and a 10.39 55m hurdles at the Valentine[apos]s Meet on Feb. 11 for 62nd and 46th place, respectively... Took 14th in the 1000m at the America East Championship on Feb. 18 with a 2:46.30 time... Placed seventh in the javelin at the Northeastern Invitational on March 26 with a 48.73m throw... Claimed seventh at the Husky Invitational on April 23 weith a 47.92m javelin throw... Earned a fifth place finish at the Brown Invitational with a 49.78m javelin throw on May 1... BEFORE BOSTON UNIVERSITY
Graduated in 2004 from Middletown High School where he was captain of the cross country, indoor track and outdoor track teams his senior year... As a junior, placed fourth at the Connecticut State Open and competed at the New England Championship... Won the Middletown Invite by throwing a career best 166[apos]10'... Placed fifth at Class MM State meet in javelin during his senior year.
