Clinical Sport Psychology Training Opportunities
Doctoral Practicum Training
Program Overview
The Clinical Sport Psychology (CSP) program within Boston University Athletics offers a 10-month doctoral practicum psychology training experience through BU’s Counseling and Psychiatry Services (CAPS). The CSP track is a great match for doctoral students highly passionate about the integration of clinical care and mental performance in collegiate athletics.
The CSP practicum trainee is fully embedded within the Clinical Sport Psychology program and serves BU student-athletes and the broader Athletics community. A time commitment of 16 to 24 hours per week is required. The training experience provides in-depth exposure to both mental health and performance-related work in a Division I athletic setting.
