BEFORE BOSTON UNIVERSITY: Member of the Hong Kong National Team ... In his senior season, broke the Hong Kong regional interschool record in the 50 free with a time of 24.80 ... Was a silver medalist in the 100 backstroke, and a bronze medalist in the 50 and 100 free at Hong Kong championships ... In 2009, was a bronze medalist in the 200 free in the Hong Kong short course age group and claimed a silver medal in the 50 free at the Hong Kong Division 1 short course competition ... As a junior, was a gold medalist in the 50 and 100 free and qualified for the Olympic Trials, finishing eighth in the finals ... As a freshman and sophomore was a gold medalist in the 50 and 100 free in the Hong Kong Interschool championships ... Was also a varsity letter winner in basketball, where he earned the team[apos]s MVP and most improved player award ... Named to the academic honor roll as a freshman, sophomore and junior.
