AS A JUNIOR IN 2008-09: Swam in three events at the 2009 America East Championships, placing in the top 5 in all events, respectively ... Swam a personal best in the 400 individual medley (3:58.10) placing third, and finishing fourth in both the 100 breaststroke (56.69) and 200 breaststroke (2:03.83).
AS A SOPHOMORE IN 2007-08: Broke the 1650 free school record in 15:52.93 at the America East Championships, where he finished second overall ... Also broke the school record in the 400 IM in 4:01.50 at the conference championship, finishing third overall.
BEFORE BOSTON UNIVERSITY: Swam for Rutgers University during the 2006-07 season ... In high school was a four-time all-state honoree ... As a senior, was a 4A State Champion and All-American in the 200 IM ... As a junior was an All-American in the 200 IM and Honorable Mention in the 500 free ... Was named to the USA Scholastic All-American list in 2004, 2005 and 2006.
PERSONAL: Born on June 28, 1988, in Austin, Texas ... Son of Dan and Kathy Slesnick ... Has two siblings, Nolan and Lara ... Was high school teammates with current Terrier Daniel Kempf ... Enrolled in the School of Management as a business administration and managment major.
