AS A JUNIOR IN 2011-12: Finished 13th in the 500 freestyle (5:05.12) and 16th in the 200 freestyle (1:54.36) at the America East Championship ... Posted three top five finishes in the 200 freestyle during the regular season ... Placed fourth in the 100 backstroke (1:02.67) against Massachusetts ... Swam on the 400 freestyle relay teams against Massachusetts and Fordham.
AS A SOPHOMORE IN 2010-2011: Swam in six events through the course of the season ... Was a member of the second-place 400 medley relay team in a meet against Bryant/Maine.
AS A FRESHMAN IN 2009-10: Participated in three events at the 2010 AE Championships: 500 free (26th), 200 free (15th, 1:56.05), and 100 free (24th) ... Set a personal record with her time of 1:56.05 in the 200 free.
BEFORE BOSTON UNIVERSITY: Captained Reading Memorial[apos]s high school team as a senior, where the squad won the North Sectional Championships ... Had an award named after her in 2009 - the Alexandra Hunter Award, given by the Burbank YMCA Bluefins for outstanding dedication to the team and to the sport ... As a junior was named the Bluefins[apos] Swimmer of the Year and as a sophomore earned Reading Memorial[apos]s Coaches Award.
PERSONAL: Born on Feb. 19, 1991 ... Daughter of John and Sue Hunter, both former members of the BU swimming and diving team ... Enrolled in the College of General Studies.
