After helping lead the Boston University softball team to a three-game sweep over Holy Cross with a strong performance in the circle, freshman Kali Magane has been named the GoTerriers.com Student-Athlete of the Week.
A native of Wrentham, Mass., the pitcher went the distance twice in back-to-back starts and limited the Crusaders to just one run, as BU posted 4-1 and 8-0 victories, respectively. In total, she finished with 12 strikeouts in 12 innings of work.
For her efforts, Magane was also named the Turnpike Trophy MVP.
