Doherty Lands Spot on NCAA Softball's "Lineup of the Week"

BOSTON – After helping the Boston University softball team win all four games with three homers and eight RBIs, junior Kylie Doherty claimed a spot on NCAA Softball's Lineup of the Week, as announced by the selector, Michella Chester, Wednesday afternoon.
A native of Bolton, Massachusetts, Doherty becomes the third Terrier to earn the honor this season after senior first baseman Megan Coyle (April 8) and junior outfielder Sophie Naivar (March 25) were both previously recognized.
Doherty batted a combined .467 against Providence and Colgate with a 1.133 slugging percentage, highlighted by a grand slam during 8-7 win vs. the Friars. She went a combined 6-for-11 at Colgate, tallying four RBIs with the help of two homers in a 13-3 (5) victory.
