Amanda Hasler Joins Softball Coaching Staff

BOSTON – The Boston University Softball program has added Amanda Hasler to its coaching staff ahead of the 2027 season, as announced by head coach Ashley Waters on Monday.
"Amanda Hasler is the full package. A gifted athlete, an exceptional student and a wonderful human being. She competed on the biggest stage for Oklahoma State and achieved great success," Waters said. "Her poise, competitiveness and knowledge will bring our program to the next level."
Hasler joins the Terriers after completing her highly successful collegiate career at Oklahoma State, where she earned several accolades including Big 12 Player of the Week, Academic All-Big 12 Team and NFCA All-Region Third Team.
In her senior season, she appeared in all 58 games and made 57 starts, led the team with 64 RBIs which tied for fifth-most in the conference and tied the team lead in triples with three.The Avon, Conn., native batted over .300 for the third consecutive season and surpassed 50 hits for the second time in three years.
Hasler transferred to Oklahoma State after spending her first two years at NC State and made a memorable debut in her junior season. In her first game for the Cowgirls, she hit a two-run home run against No. 9 Florida State and went on to earn a unanimous selection to the All-Big 12 First Team after finishing the season fifth in the conference in home runs (16), leading the conference in slugging percentage (.936) and OPS (1.459) against Big 12 opponents and maintaining a .996 fielding percentage behind the plate.
During her time at NC State, Hasler played in 105 games and made 103 starts while recording 27 home runs, 73 RBIs and a .653 slugging percentage. She was named a two-time Academic All-ACC honoree and earned CSC Academic All-District honors.
"Our hitters and catchers will benefit greatly from her collegiate experience. I am thrilled to work with her and welcome her to the BU family; we believe she will be an awesome fit." Waters said.
