After guiding the Boston University women’s soccer team to back-to-back shutouts, Alivya Wimmer has been named the GoTerriers.com Student-Athlete of the Week.
In the Terriers’ 1-0 victory over Dartmouth on Tuesday, Wimmer helped limit the Big Green to just four shots before guiding the BU back line to its third straight shutout after a 0-0 double overtime draw at Lafayette.
A senior captain from Shingle Springs, California, Wimmer has helped guide the Terriers to four clean sheets this season.
