Women’s Soccer Meets Army West Point in 2025 PL Championship on Sunday

BOSTON – With a trip to the NCAA Tournament on the line, the No. 1-seed Boston University women's soccer program hosts No. 3-seed Army West Point in the 2025 Patriot League Championship on Sunday (Nov. 9). Opening kick is set for noon.
BU (11-4-3, 7-1-1 PL), seeking its second consecutive Patriot League title and sixth overall, dispatched No. 5-seed Lafayette in the semifinal round on Thursday (Nov. 6). The Terriers enter the contest on an eight-game winning streak and seven-game shutout streak.
Army West Point (13-5-2, 5-3-1 PL) vies for its first championship since 2011 and fourth in the conference. The Black Knights defeated No. 6-seed Loyola Maryland and No. 2-seed Colgate to reach the final.

- In the 4-0 win over the Leopards in the semifinal, junior Ava Maguire scored two goals, while senior Margy Porta and sophomore Juliana Osterman added tallies.
- Sophomore goalkeeper Bridget Carr made three saves in her seventh consecutive shutout.
- BU has not allowed a goal at home since Aug. 21 against Fairfield. That is the only match out of nine home contests in 2025 where the Terriers conceded a goal.

- Senior Giulianna Gianino registered three assists in the semifinal round to set BU's new single season program record. She ranks fifth in program history with 74 career points.
