After shutting out No. 9/8 New Hampshire in his first collegiate start, goaltender Max Prawdzik of the men’s ice hockey team has been named the GoTerriers.com Student–Athlete of the Week.
Prawdzik became the first BU netminder in 17 years to earn a shutout in his first collegiate start, stopping all 29 of the Wildcats’ shots to help the Terriers claim a 4-0 victory on Saturday evening at Agganis Arena.
The redshirt sophomore, who was also named the Hockey East Defensive Player of the Week, made his Terrier debut in the closing minutes of Friday’s game at Northeastern before getting the starting nod on Saturday.
