After leading the league in goals (3) and points (5) last week, redshirt junior Sammy Davis of the women’s ice hockey team has been named the GoTerriers.com Student-Athlete of the Week.
She tallied three of her five points in the opening round of the Beanpot on Tuesday, scoring a goal and assisting on two others in a 3-3 tie with Northeastern. Davis then followed that with two third-period goals in a 7-1 win over Holy Cross on Saturday.
Davis is tied for the league lead with 21 goals and her 42 points ranks second in the conference.
