David Farrance of the men's ice hockey team recorded five goals and an assist in a weekend series with Providence. He erased a 3-1 deficit on Friday with a pair of third-period power-play goals to help salvage a tie. The next night, Farrance recorded his first collegiate hat trick and added an assist for a career-high four points. After that performance, Farrance leads all NCAA men's hockey defenders with eight goals and 14 points.
