Lindy Saragosa was an outstanding all-around athlete during her four-year career that spanned from 1946 to 1950. She was a first team performer in no less than 14 sports, while she still found time to serve in a trainer's capacity and senior facility advisor for the softball and lacrosse teams.

In addition, she was the assistant business manager and vice-president of the athletic association.

As an undergraduate, Lindy was a rated official in field hockey and basketball.

Saragosa, whose maiden name was Laurentano, received special recognition in her senior year when she was named to the All-American lacrosse team.

After graduating from Sargent College, she played on the United States touring teams in both lacrosse and field hockey, and competed against the best teams on the British Isles and the Continent.

Saragosa, who was a member of the Olympic Society, taught in the Medford school system at the time of induction.
