Bussoli, Johnson On All-Tournament Team

Sophomore defenseman Mike Bussoli (Calgary, ALTA) and freshman left wing Gregg Johnson (Windsor, CT) were named to the Bank One Badger Showdown which concluded on Saturday night (December 30th).
After defeating the nation's third-ranked North Dakota, 4-3, on Friday night, the Terriers bowed to Wisconsin, 3-2, in the title game.
In the win over North Dakota, Johnson had his first multiple-goal game as a Terrier. His second goal came at 19:23 of the third period and it proved to be the game-winner. In the title game, Johnson was held scoreless.
Bussoli chipped in with one assist each against North Dakota and Wisconsin. The assists brought his point total this season to 2-7-9 in 16 games, surpassing his freshman-year total of 1-6-7 in 42 games.
The two were joined on the All-Tournament team by forwards Jeff Panzer of North Dakota and Andy Wheeler of Wisconsin. In addition to Bussoli, the other defenseman was Alex Brooks of Wisconsin.
Princeton's Nate Nomeland was the goalie.
Finally, Wheeler was named the tourney's MVP.
