He won the 100-yard backstroke in :56.79, the 200- backstroke in 2:05.48, and the 200- individual medley in 2:03.22 Collins then combined with sophomore Ryan Falk (Sarasota, FL), freshman Griffin Moodie (Edina, MN), and sophomore Mike Kelly (Shrewsbury, NJ) to take the 200-yard medley relay in 1:39.66.

Other notable performances were made by junior David Brown (Fallbrook, CA) and sophomore Bryan Martinez (Chelmsford, MA), who each placed second in the 200-yard freestyle and the three-meter dives, respectively, and by Falk, who also finished second in the 200-yard individual medley.
