Men's Tennis Posts 7-0 Shutout Over UNH

BOSTON - The Boston University men's tennis team had a highly successful America East opener on Sunday, posting a 7-0 shutout over visiting New Hampshire. The Terriers did not drop a set on the day and improved to 3-2 on the season.
BU swept the doubles matches, losing a combined two games in the three wins to take the early point.
After sophomore Jared Kobren posted a 6-0, 6-2 victory over Jonathan Moody in the No. 2 singles match, junior co-captains Barrett Wolf and Ross Lohr closed out their respective wins in the first and third singles matches within 30 seconds of each other.
Lohr defeated Alec Jaslow 6-1, 6-1 for the third point before Wolf earned a 6-1, 6-2 win over Sean Tully for the team match point.
At No. 5 singles, sophomore Hans Sapra won the first set 6-4 and trailed 5-3 in the second before rallying to win 7-6 (8-6) in the tiebreaker. Freshman Tim Schisler won seven straight games at sixth singles before his opponent retired.
