WAKEFIELD, Mass. - Senior Pete MacArthur (Clifton Park, N.Y.) has been named the CCM/RBK Hockey East Player of the Month for November, as announced by the league office on Tuesday. The forward scored at least one point in eight of the Terriers' nine games during the month, helping them post four victories.
MacArthur recorded eight goals and seven assists in November and closed out the month on a seven-game point streak. He scored a career-high four points - all assists - in the Terrier's 9-1 win at Vermont on Nov. 16. That performance was one of four multi-point efforts in the month, including a two-goal, one-assist showing in a home contest against UMass on Nov. 9.
MacArthur, who recorded just one point in October, ranks second on the team in scoring this season with 16 points on eight goals and eight assists. His 118 career points are the most of any current Hockey East player.
This is MacArthur's first league Player of the Month award, and he is the first Terrier to earn the honor since David Van der Gulik in March 2006.
