BOSTON - The BU men's tennis (4-11, 2-3 America East) team suffered a hard-luck loss, 4-3, at the hands of Sacred Heart (4-9, NEC 1-0) on Monday, Mar. 24 in Fairfield, Conn.
Senior Daniel Frid (Dallas, Texas) and juniors Charles Weinstein (New Rochelle, N.Y.) and Tim Sichler (Los Lunas, N.M.) all chalked up victories for the Terriers in singles play.
BU could not maintain the momentum from its singles wins as the Terriers dropped two out of three doubles matches. Weinstein and Sichler defeated of Kirill Kasyanov/Nick Mazzarese, 9-7, in the Terriers' only doubles victory.
Boston University returns to action Thursday, April 3 when BU travels to play Connecticut at 3:00 p.m.
