The Boston University men's tennis team will make history on Saturday (Jan. 24) when it visits Brown University at 7 p.m. to compete in the first-ever "Rock N' Roll College Tennis Dual Format", in which rock n' roll music will be played during the entire contest. The result will count toward both teams' records, and on the women's side, fellow America East school Binghamton will use the same format in a match against Colgate in April.
The new format will also consist of just four singles and one doubles match with a super breaker played for the 3rd set. Check out the following two links to learn more about where the future of college tennis may be headed, as officials look for ways to bring a festive and exciting atmosphere to the game.
