
Lehigh Defeats Men's Tennis, 6-1

BOSTON - Playing in its first home match of the spring season, the Boston University men's tennis team dropped a 6-1 decision to Lehigh. Freshman Josh Friedman captured the Terriers' lone point at the No. 2 singles spot.
Winning two of the three doubles matches and then five of the six singles contests, the Mountain Hawks improve to 1-3, while the Terriers dropped to 1-2.
Friedman along with teammate Jeff Chudacoff started the contest off well with an 8-2 victory at No. 1 doubles, but Lehigh came back with identical 8-5 wins in the other two doubles matches for the first point.
During singles action, Friedman pulled out a 7-5, 6-2 win over Leland Richardson. Chudacoff hung tough at the top singles spot but fell 7-5, 7-6(5) to Troy List. Alex Hallenbeck lost in two tie breakers to Matt Savran, 7-6(2), 7-6 (10-8) at No. 4.
BU next hosts Colgate on Sunday at 12 p.m.
