UConn Defeats Men's Tennis, 6-1

BOSTON - The Boston University men's tennis team battled Connecticut to three three-set singles matches but came out on the losing end in all of them to drop a 6-1 decision Friday afternoon at the Track and Tennis Center. Sophomore Alex Green led the Terriers with a 7-5, 6-1 victory over Thomas Cook at No. 6 in singles action.

The Huskies (6-6-1) won two of the three doubles contests for the first point and then captured five of the six singles matches.

BU (3-9) will next host Hofstra on Sunday at 12 p.m. in the final home match of the season.
