
Men's Tennis Falls to Valparaiso, 5-2

ORLANDO, Fla. - Opening its Spring Break trip at Star Island in Orlando with the first of three matches on Monday, the Boston University men's tennis team fell to Valparaiso, 5-2. Senior Jeff Chudacoff led the Terriers (2-6) with a dominating two-set victory at No. 1 singles, dropping just two games.
Valpo (2-5) swept through doubles action and then captured four of the six singles matches for the team victory.
Chudacoff tied the contest briefly at one point apiece with a 6-2, 6-0 victory over Kyle Stump, but the lead didn't last long, as the Crusaders earned the next three points with three two-set victories.
James Bernstein pulled out the other win for the Terriers at No. 6 with a 7-6(3), 3-6, 10-3 win over Siddarth Mehta.
The Terriers will next face South Dakota St. on Tuesday.
