Lorms gave the Terriers a 1-0 lead 4:10 into the first frame. In the offensive zone, freshman Louise Warren collected the puck near the blue line and passed to Lorms behind the Northeastern defense. She settled the puck, moved it to her forehand and wristed a shot high to the glove side.
In the second period, BU skated to a 2-0 advantage at 9:57. Carly Warren collected the puck below the Terrier goal line, cruised through the neutral zone and wristed a shot from the top of the right circle. The shot bounced off Sulyma's right shoulder, landed behind the goaltender and rolled into the net.
Lorms recorded her second tally of the game just 1:13 into the final stanza. Graduate student Catherine Ward passed to junior Jenelle Kohanchuk, who carried the puck into the offensive zone. She dropped a pass to Lorms, who wristed a shot from the bottom of the right circle low to the blocker side.

The Pickering, Ont., native then tallied her team-leading 24th goal of the season at 12:47. While on the power play, Carly Warren took a shot from the blue line that was turned aside. Freshman Kaleigh Fratkin collected the puck in the slot, but had her attempt denied. Wakefield located the rebound, kicked the puck to her stick and fired a shot past Sulyma.
With 1:39 remaining in the contest, Northeastern ended the shutout bid. Following a scramble in front of the net, Katie MacSorley sent the loose puck past Sperry.
