Senior Kyle Ernst was named the most valuable player of the 2010-11 men's swimmers.
Ernst, a mainstay in the Terriers' lineup over the last four years, locked up Most Outstanding Swimmer honors on the men's side at the 2011 America East Swimming and Diving Championships with dominant performances in the 100 and 200 breaststroke.
In the 200 breaststroke, he broke the America East meet record with a time of 1:59.50 and finished 2.52 seconds ahead of his nearest competitor. In the 100 breast, he again raced past the competition, clocking in at 55.14 - a new meet and conference record. He also finished second in the 200 IM with a time of 1:50:30.
He graduated in May as the school record holder in the 100 and 200 breaststrokes and as a member of the record-breaking 200 and 400 medley relay teams.
