Sophomore Josh Friedman received Most Valuable Player honors for the 2010-11 Boston University men's tennis team after helping the Terriers reach the semifinals of the America East tournament at the No. 1 singles and doubles spots.
Seeded third in the America East tournament, the Terriers finished the regular season with a 10-10 record, the same amount of wins earned in the previous two years combined. Friedman recorded a 9-8 singles record, earning wins over the top players from Villanova, Army and Fairfield along the way.
He also earned Second Team All-America East honors in doubles with Michael Kopelman. The duo finished the year 9-9 at the top doubles spot.
