
Men's Tennis Rolls Past Hartford, 6-1

WEST HARTFORD, Conn. - Competing in its first dual match of the year, the Boston University men's tennis team earned a 6-1 victory at Hartford on Thursday afternoon. Sweeping through doubles and winning five of the six singles matches, the Terriers improve to 1-0 on the season.
Freshman Brandon Phan led BU by dropping just one game in his 6-1, 6-0 victory at the No. 6 slot. Senior Michael Kopelman and sophomore Chanon Varapongsittikul also won in straight sets after comfortably winning in doubles.
They will next compete at the ITA Regionals on the campus of Yale University starting Thursday, Oct. 18.
