LOS ANGELES - Kicking off its Spring Break trip in California, the Boston University men's tennis team dropped a 7-0 decision to Loyola Marymount on Sunday afternoon.
The Lions (6-5) won two of the three doubles matches and swept through singles action for the team victory.
Senior Alex Green and junior Alex Hallenbeck led the Terriers (0-9) with an 8-6 victory in the No. 3 doubles spot. During singles play, sophomore Jesse Frieder battled with Seb Bustamante, winning the most amount of games for BU in a 7-5, 7-5 loss at No. 2.
The Terriers will next face Fairleigh Dickinson on Tuesday (March 13) in Palm Springs, Calif.
