Hallenbeck Named America East Player of the Week

CAMBRIDGE, Mass. - After winning his singles match against No. 58 St. John's, Boston University men's tennis junior Alex Hallenbeck has been named America East Player of the Week, the league announced Tuesday afternoon.
Facing the Red Storm at the USTA National Tennis Center, site of the U.S. Open and the 2012 America East Championship, Hallenbeck dropped just one game in a dominating 6-1, 6-0 victory against Greg Streat in the No. 6 singles spot.
The award marks the Terriers' second of the season after freshman Emilio Teran earned the nod back on March 20.
BU will next visit Hartford on Saturday, April 14.
