BOSTON - Earning its third sweep of the season, the Boston University men's tennis team claimed a 7-0 victory over Merrimack on Wednesday afternoon at the Track & Tennis Center. Snapping a two-match losing streak, the Terriers improve to 5-2, while the Warriors fall to 3-2.
BU won the three doubles matches for the first point and then earned all six singles points in straight sets.
Senior Josh Friedman, sophomore Chanon Varapongsittikul, junior Jesse Frieder, freshman Eric Miller and freshman Stefan Lemire all won a set without dropping a game en route to victory.
The Terriers will return to action on Saturday (March 23) with a trip to Fairfield and action scheduled for 1 p.m.
