
Eichel Tabbed Hockey East Rookie of the Week

WAKEFIELD, Mass. - For the second time this season, freshman Jack Eichel of the Boston University men's ice hockey team has been named the Hockey East Pro Ambitions Rookie of the Week, as announced by the league office on Monday.
Eichel scored a game-tying goal in an eventual 5-3 victory at then-No. 3 Boston College on Friday before picking up three primary assists in a 4-4 draw at home on Saturday against Connecticut. Those performances stretched his season-opening point streak to seven games.
Through those seven contests, the North Chelmsford, Massachusetts, native has a league-best 13 points on five goals and eight assists. He leads the nation in points per game (1.86) and plus-minus (+13).
