BOSTON - Freshman Jack Eichel of the top-ranked Boston University men's ice hockey team has been wearing a different jersey all week, as he is one of 30 taking part in the U.S. National Junior Team's training camp, being held at BU's Walter Brown Arena.
The camp culminates on Friday evening when the Terriers return to Walter Brown Arena for the first time in 10 years to take on Team USA in an exhibition contest. Game time is set for 7:30 p.m.
Eichel, who played for Team USA as a 17-year-old at last year's World Juniors, has his sights set on earning gold at this year's tournament, which is being held in Montreal and Toronto beginning on Dec. 26.
