September 25, 2014 | Men's Ice Hockey
BUFFALO - Freshman center Jack Eichel of the Boston University men's ice hockey team is set to participate in tonight's CCM/USA Hockey All-American Prospects Game, which will be broadcast live from First Niagara Center on NHL Network beginning at 7 p.m.
Eichel is one of 42 top American prospects eligible for the 2015 NHL Draft that will be showcased in the game. He will play for Team Grier, as in former BU All-American and NHL standout Mike Grier, who is one of two coaches in Thursday's contest.
Since arriving in Buffalo on Tuesday, Eichel has done numerous interviews with local and national media and also answered questions on Wednesday during a Twitter takeover on @USAHockey.
Terrier fans will get their first look at Eichel in a BU uniform when the team hosts St. Thomas in an exhibition contest on Saturday, Oct. 4, at Agganis Arena beginning at 4 p.m. (Tickets).
