Eichel Named Top Player at All-American Prospects Game

Eichel recorded the game-winning goal and added an assist to help former BU All-American and NHL standout Mike Grier earn a win as coach.
Team Grier grabbed a 3-1 lead with goals at 13:10 and 14:27 of the first period with Eichel earning the primary assist on the first of those tallies.
After Team Olczyk used a power play to score the lone goal of the second period, Eichel kickstarted a run of three straight goals for Team Greir in the third to seal the victory.
Just past the midpoint of the third, Jordan Greenway won a puck in the corner and found Eichel all alone in front of the net for what proved to be the game-winning goal.
Eichel will return to campus on Friday and now focuses on the start of the Terriers' season. BU opens on Saturday (Oct. 4) with an exhibition against St. Thomas at Agganis Arena. Game time is set for 4 p.m. (Tickets)
