BOSTON--The Boston University women's basketball team hits the road for one last game before the holiday break. The Terriers visit Massachusetts on Saturday, Dec. 19 for a 6 p.m. game with the Minutewomen in Mullins Center.
Fans can watch the game live on the A-10 Network or listen on the Terrier Sports Radio Network with James Mattone on the call.
QUICK HITS
-Sarah Hope matched the school single-game record in 3-pointers made with seven against Rhode Island with seven. The junior is currently ranked 10th all-time at BU in career three's with 126.
-Meghan Green had a break-out game last weekend, scoring 22 points against Marist. She leads the team with 11.0 points and 6.0 rebounds per game.
-BU enters its third season in the Patriot League and second under the command of head coach Katy Steding.
-BU returns nine players from the 2014-15 season and added five during the off-season.
-The 2015-16 captains are Clodagh Scannell, Courtney Latham, Sarah Hope and Corrine Williams.
-Six players who started 12 or more games return for the 2015-16 season.
-BU enters its 41st season as a varsity program.
A TERRIER WIN WOULD...
-Keep BU ahead in the series with Massachusetts at 15-13.

THE SERIES
-Saturday's game is the 28th all-time meeting between Boston University and Massachusetts.
-The Terriers have a slight edge in the series, leading 14-13.
-UMass and BU have faced each other in each of the last nine seasons.
THE TERRIERS
-The Terriers starts the season on a nine-game skid, dropping contests with Northeastern, Albany, Boston College, Harvard, Dartmouth, UMass-Lowell, New Hampshire, Rhode Island and Marist.
-Sarah Hope has been outstanding from long-range as of late, matching her career-high with six three's against UMass Lowell and then beating her personal best and matching the school record with seven against Rhode Island.
-After missing a game due to injury for the first time in her career, Meghan Green returned against Marist and led the team with 22 points, one shy of her career high. She leads the team with 11.0 points and 6.0 rebounds per game.
-BU returns nine players from the 2014-15 season and adds five newcomers to this year's squad.
THE MINUTEWOMEN
-With two games left before the start of conference play, UMass has a 3-6 record, defeating Holy Cross, Bryant and Hofstra so far this year.
-The Minutewomen have three players averaging double-figure scoring. Bria Stallworth leads the team with 13.1 points per game while Cierra Dillard averages 11.4 points per game and leads the team with 28 assists and 15 steals so far this season. Alyssa Lawrence rounds out the group with 10.0 points per game.
-As a team, UMass is averaging 62.3 points per game and is shooting an impressive 40.7 percent from the field through nine games. The Minutewomen struggle with turnovers, however, averaging 18.4 each game.
