LEWISBURG, Pa. - Connor Stuewe and Stephanie Nasson each swam to back-to-back Patriot League titles and Lizzie Tillo earned her first conference crown on the final day of the PL Championships. Both the men's and women's teams finished in third place for the second consecutive year.
Nasson opened Saturday's finals with a win in the 1650 freestyle and Stuewe followed it up with a first-place finish in the 200 backstroke, both defending their titles from the 2014 championship.
Stuewe bested his own school, league and meet record in the 200 backstroke after having completed the same feat in the preliminary round of the 100 backstroke the day before. His efforts earned him the Men's Swimmer of the Meet award, the second year BU has had Swimmer of the Meet recognition.
Tillo won her first-ever conference title in the three meter dive, earning 20 points to help propel the women to a third-place finish. Her win earned her Women's Diver of the Meet recognition.
Garrett Chin, who set a school record in the 400 IM on day three, took fourth overall in the 200 backstroke. On the women's side, Nikki Bookwalter swam to a team-leading eighth place finish in the event.

The men's team closed competition with a third-place finish in the 400 freestyle relay while the women placed fifth in the event.
The Terriers await their fate to get into the NCAA Championship. Though no one from BU earned an automatic qualification several Terriers met the "B" qualification standard, which could lead to an invitation to the competition.
