
Terriers Claim 4-0 Win at Lafayette

EASTON, Pa. - Facing its second Patriot League opponent of the weekend, the Boston University men's tennis team claimed a 4-0 victory at Lafayette on Sunday afternoon.
The Terriers (3-6, 2-1 PL) snapped a six-match losing streak by winning two doubles contests and three singles matches in straight sets, as the Leopards fell to 5-8 and 1-4 in conference action.
In doubles action, sophomores Jake De Vries and Jay Leelavanich claimed an 8-2 victory at No. 2. Junior Stefan Lemire and sophomore Mario Sandoval sealed the doubles point with an indentical 8-2 win in the No. 3 slot.
During singles, BU made quick of the Leopards for the team victory. Sophomore Lucas Bombonatti blanked his opponent, 6-0, 6-0 at No. 4. Senior Emilio Teran dropped just one game in a dominating 6-1, 6-0 victory at No. 5, and junior Josh Hurd matched his performance with a 6-1, 6-0 win in the No. 6 slot. 
The Terriers will next host Holy Cross in the final home match of the regular season on Wednesday (April 1) at 5:30 p.m.
