
Four Terriers Named to PL Academic Honor Roll

CENTER VALLEY, Pa. - The Boston University men's tennis team placed four of its student-athletes on this year's Patriot League Academic Honor Roll, the conference announced Tuesday afternoon. Sophomores Jake De Vries and Mario Sandoval both earned their second consecutive award, while both junior Stefan Lemire and senior Emilio Teran were recognized for the first time.
To be eligible for the Academic Honor Roll, a student-athlete must earn a 3.20 grade-point average in the spring semester.
Helping the Terriers reach the semifinals of the Patriot League Tournament, De Vries (Irvine, Calif.) recorded a GPA of 3.70 in the spring while majoring in journalism. Lemire (Houston, Texas) posted a 3.50 GPA as a business administration major.
Sandoval (Dallas, Texas) claimed a 3.58 GPA in human physiology, while Teran (Miami, FLa.) ended his final semester with a 3.22 GPA in computer engineering.
