Kwok Earns First Patriot League Player of the Week Award

CENTER VALLEY, Pa. - After coasting to a straight-sets victory against Sacred Heart and battling No. 33 Harvard to the end, Boston University men's tennis senior William Kwok has been named the Patriot League Corvias Male Tennis Player of the Week, the conference announced Monday afternoon.
A 2015 PL All-Conference First Team honoree, he collected his first PL weekly honor by leading BU to its first win of the season against the Pioneers. He posted a 7-5 doubles win at line 2 and then claimed a 6-3, 6-3 victory at No. 1 singles against SHU's Brian Power, as BU finished with the 5-2 team win.
In the second matchup, Kwok forced a first-set tie breaker but ultimately came up just short against No. 33 Harvard's Andy Zhou , 7-6, 6-4.
