Terriers Set for Sunday's Home Opener against Fairfield

BOSTON - Coming off last weekend's road split, the Boston University men's tennis team will host Fairfield in the home opener at the BU Track & Tennis Center on Sunday with doubles action set to begin at 10 a.m.
The Terriers (1-2) collected a 5-2 victory over Sacred Heart before dropping a 7-0 decision to then-No. 33 Harvard. The Stags (2-0) will be participating in their first match of the new year after posting wins over Hartford (6-1) and Rider (6-1) last fall.
Fairfield has won the last five meetings against the Terriers with BU's last win coming in 2007. The Stags were supposed to host BU last season after earning a 4-1 win in 2014 at the TTC but the match was canceled due to a winter storm.
