
Leelavanich Claims All-PL First Team Honors

CENTER VALLEY, Pa. - After leading the Boston University men's tennis team to its third straight top-three seed entering the Patriot League tournament, junior Jay Leelavanich has earned All-Conference First Team accolades, the league office announced Tuesday afternoon.
The award marks the second for Leelavanich after he was placed on the second team in 2015. This dual season, the Canoga Park, Calif., native moved up to the No. 1 singles slot and recorded seven wins with key victories against the top players from eventual PL champion Army West Point, UConn, Quinnipiac, Holy Cross and Sacred Heart.
Leelavanich also collected six wins in doubles with teammate Jake De Vries, including four victories at line 1. During the spring, he picked up impressive wins over Fairfield, Holy Cross, Colgate, Lehigh, MIT and Sacred Heart.
