Terriers Conclude Season at NCAA Northeast Regional

BUFFALO, N.Y. - The Boston University women's cross country team concluded its 2017 season on Friday morning at the NCAA Northeast Regional held at Audobon Golf Course.
BU finished 28th in the 36-team field with a score of 694, just two points behind the 27th-place squad on a frigid day.
Senior Paige Ferrucci led the Terriers with a 6K time of 23:24.1, good for 92nd place. She improved her position by 95 places after reaching the one-mile mark.
Sophomore Abigail Gugel was 115th with a time of 23:34.1, followed by classmate Ally Schlosser (23:49.9) in 143rd. Junior Courtney Breiner also finished in the top 150, coming in 149th with a time of 23:54.3.
Junior Elin Wolker (24:52.8) rounded out the Terrier scorers in 198th. Freshmen Laura Parkinson (25:02.2) and Raquel Tadeo (25:16.6) each made their NCAA Regional debut on Friday.
The Terriers will now turn their attention to the indoor track & field season, which begins with the BU Season Opener on Dec. 2 at the Track and Tennis Center.
