
Bombonatti Claims Third PL Player of the Week Honor

BOSTON – After helping lead the Boston University men's tennis team to a sweep over Sacred Heart from the top singles and doubles slot, senior Lucas Bombonatti has been named the Patariot League Corvias Player of the Week, the conference announced Tuesday afternoon.
The award marks the third this season for the Houston, Texas native. He opened the Senior Day match against the Pioneers with a 6-3 doubles win alongside sophomore Satyajit Simhadri. He then followed up with a dominating 6-1, 6-1 victory against SHU's Cory Seltman.
BU will next travel to Poughkeepsie, N.Y., for a pair of matches this weekend, starting with a matchup against Villanova on Saturday (March 25) at 1:30 p.m.
