Terriers Tie for First at Yale

NEW HAVEN, Conn. - The Boston University golf team tied for first place at Yale on Sunday afternoon at The Course at Yale.
Playing its final 18 holes of competition before the Patriot League Championship, BU combined for a score of 302. The host Bulldogs matched that total, followed in third by Dartmouth. Brown and Quinnipiac also played.
Senior Adela Cejnarova and sophomore Megan Carter each shot 73 to lead the Terriers. Carter's round was highlighted by an impressive eagle on a par-4. In addition to Carter's eagle, the Terriers sank 11 birdies on Sunday to bring their spring total to 161.
Freshman Abby Parsons finished a stroke behind Cejnarova and Carter with a 74. Junior Phyllis Tang carded an 82, followed by freshmen Zhangcheng Guo (83) and Saeros Oskarsdottir (85).

BU will compete at the 54-hole Patriot League Championship on April 22 and 23 at Saucon Valley Country Club, hosted by Lehigh. The Terriers will play 36 holes on Saturday before next Sunday's final round.
