The Boston University women's rowing team will continue its busy spring season over the weekend, racing on the Charles River against Michigan State, Northeastern and UMass on Saturday morning before heading to Shrewsbury, Mass. to take on Patriot League foes Holy Cross and Bucknell on Sunday.
This weekend will serve as the teams' final tune-up before the Women's Eastern Sprints on April 30th.
The first race on Saturday will be the 1V8 at 7:40 a.m. vs. Michigan State, UMass and NU. The race between BU and NU will be for the annual Council Cup. The 1V race will be followed by the second varsity eight race at 8:10 a.m. The V4A will race at 8:40 a.m. and the V4B will close out the competition at 9:10 a.m.
On Sunday, the Terriers head to Shrewsbury, Mass. to race on Lake Quinsigamond versus Patriot League foes Holy Cross and Bucknell. Racing is schedule to begin at 9:00 a.m. with the varsity eight trace.
Sunday will be a good test for the Terriers as BU will face both the Crusaders and Bison again at the Patriot League Championships on May, 12 in Cherry Hill, N.J.
