Chin Named Patriot League Swimmer of the Week

CENTER VALLEY, Pa. — Senior Garrett Chin of the Boston University men's swimming and diving team has been named the Patriot League Swimmer of the Week, as announced by the conference Tuesday.
Chin earned his second career weekly honor from the Patriot League after winning both the 200 back and 200 IM at the George Mason Quad Meet on Saturday. The senior co-captain clocked in the 200 back with a time of 1:50.27 before touching the wall first in the 200 IM at 1:53.34. Additionally, the La Canada, California native earned a second-place finish in the 100 back, ticking in at 50.50.
Chin and the Terriers will head down Comm Ave on Saturday, Jan. 27 for a 1 p.m. dual meet against Boston College.
