BOSTON – The Boston University women's basketball team will close out its two-game road swing as it visits Lafayette on Wednesday, Feb. 21 for a 7 p.m. tip.

PATRIOT LEAGUE PICTURE

  • BU stands in a four-way tie for sixth place in the Patriot League standings with Lafayette, Loyola and Holy Cross.
  • The Terriers will look to jump ahead in the standings down the stretch of the season as they play again the Leopards and Greyhounds in two of the last three regular season contests.
  • Army West Point and Lehigh are two spots above as both claim a 7-8 mark in league play.
  • American, Bucknell and Navy have all cinched home court advantage for the quarterfinal round.

SCOUTING LAFAYETTE

  • Also entering Wednesday's matchup on a two-game skid, the Leopards have five of their last six matchups to stand at 9-16 overall and 5-10 in Patriot League games.
  • Freshman Natalie Kucowski paces the team with 11.6 points and 10.8 rebounds per game and is one of three players in the Patriot League to average a double-double.
  • Kucowski owns Lafayette's freshman single-season rebound record and currently has 270 boards.
  • Anna Ptasinski ranks second on the team with 8.5 points per game and is the Leopard's top threat from deep, averaging 2.2 triples per game and is shooting .390 percent from beyond-the-arc.
  • Drew Freeland can also light it up from deep as she leads the team with a .439 3-point field goal percentage.
  • Lafayette leads the league in team 3-point field goal percentage with a .341 clip.

THE SERIES

  • Lafayette came away on top, 47-45, in the first matchup of the season Jan. 24 at Case Gym.
  • BU leads the all-time series 12-6, but Lafayette holds the upper hand at 5-4 since BU joined the Patriot League.
